Perpignan, France. La Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Perpignan est une cathédrale catholique romaine. De style gothique méridional, elle date du XIVe siècle. Construite entre 1324 et 1509, elle devient cathédrale en 1602. L'unique nef a sept traversées et une abside à sept pans. La nef fait 80 mètres de long sur 18 mètres de large. L'orgue date du début du XVIe siècle.
Perpignan, France. The Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist of Perpignan is a Roman Catholic cathedral from the 14th century. The cathedral was built in the so-called "Meridional" Gothic style, also called Catalan Gothic style. It was built between 1324 and 1509 to become a cathedral in 1602. It has a 80 meters long nave that is 18 meters wide with seven cross-vaults, a short transept and an apse whose vault has seven panes. The organ can be dated back to the very early 16th century.
