Petra, Jordan. The urn tomb is carved into the cliff of the Jabal al-Khubtah. It's part of the Royal Tombs north of the theatre and facing the Qasr al-Bint temple. The urn tomb with it's hellenistic style facade is probably the tomb of a prince or a king (maybe Malichos II). It was transformed into a church in the year 447 AD. The staircase, supported by two levels of archs, that leads to the monument is from the byzantine era.

Petra, Jordanie. Le tombeau à l'urne, ou tombeau dorique, est creusé dans la falaise du Djebel al-Khubtah. Il fait partie de l'ensemble des tombes royales au nord du théâtre romain et face au temple principal de Petra - Qasr al-Bint. Le tombeau à l'urne, probablement un tombeau princier ou royal (peut-être Malichos II), a une façade de style hélénistique et fut transformé en église en l'an 447 après JC. D'énormes voûtes sur deux niveaux soutiennent l'éscalier maçonné à l'époque byzantine.

Petra, Jordanien. Das Urnengrab ist Teil der "Königswand", eine Reihe monumentaler Grabtempel die sich gegenüber des Haupttempels "Qasr al-Bint" und nördlich des Theaters befinden. Dieses Grab, mit seinem hellenistischem Styl, wird König Malichus II zugesprochen. Es wurde Im Jahr 447 zu einer Kirche umgewandelt. Die Treppen die an das Monument führen stammen aus byzantinischer Zeit.
